I'm Julie D'Astous, a Registered Psychologist, driven by a passion for supporting children and adolescents on their unique journeys of growth and well-being.

Throughout my 17-year journey as a teacher, counsellor, and lead of student support services in the school system, I encountered diverse experiences that shaped my beliefs and understanding of student struggles. These beliefs are the driving force behind Tournesol Psychological Services, which I founded in 2021.

My deepest desire is to make a positive impact in the lives of children and teens. I firmly believe that understanding their challenges and behaviours enables them to develop stronger relationships and improve their overall well-being.

As a bilingual professional, I offer my services in both French and English to families in Edmonton, Alberta, ensuring that children and teens aged 8 - 18 can access support in their preferred language.

Together, lets nurture growth, build connections, and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.

I’m Stephanie Worrell, a Registered Psychologist, and I am so happy that you are here. I have been a psychologist for over 13 years and have worked with adults, adolescents, and children. Throughout my career I have been fortunate to support individuals with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, and coping with disabilities. I currently provide psycho-educational assessments and counselling.

I believe that everyone has the potential to learn, grow, and flourish. I am privileged to be able to work alongside children, adults, and families who are courageous and ask for help navigating obstacles and challenges in their own lives. I work from a person-centered framework and incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, play-based interventions, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy when appropriate.
